Our vision is to be an emotionally healthy, spiritually vibrant, family-focused church, influencing our community for the Kingdom of God, growing, and with a known reputation for Christ-likeness.
Our core values are Prayer, Worship, the Word, Discipleship, and Benevolence.
Prayer is critical to a relationship with God. Jesus modeled this during His time on earth (and is still modeling this with constant intercession on our behalf). Prayer = communication = relationship.
God has asked us to pray, He answers our prayers, and prayer changes us more into His likeness. Prayer is an act of worship. There is power in prayer through the name of Jesus to heal, deliver, provide, and protect. We desire a “Pray first, pray always!” mentality. God isn’t looking for perfect prayers; He is looking for authentic hearts. (Philippians 4:6-7)
Worship is the act of honoring God in every aspect and season of our lives and with varying expressions, including acts of service, prayer, tithes & offerings, music ministry, and other spiritual disciplines. How we worship is directly related to the nature of our relationship with God.
We value God’s Word as the ultimate guide for every Christ-follower. More specifically, the canonized Bible, placed in proper historical and cultural context, presents our doctrinal foundation in which we strive to teach others in sound doctrine. We preach not only with our words but also in action, with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. (Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 1:5, 1 Corinthians 2:4)
To us, discipleship is our church leadership resourcing and empowering fellow believers to fulfill their unique and God-given potential through acts of prayer, teaching, training, and ministry service opportunities. (Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8)
“Faith without works is dead”. Not only should we have spiritual fruit related to how we live out our faith, but also acts of kindness that practically display God’s love. (Matthew 25:31-40)
We are a part of the Foursquare Church movement.
What is Foursquare?
The Foursquare Church, officially known as the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, is a Protestant denomination founded by Aimee Semple McPherson in the 1920s. Foursquare derives its name from what McPherson called the "Foursquare Gospel": Jesus is the Savior, Jesus is the Healer, Jesus is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, and Jesus is the Soon-Coming King.

AN ADDED NOTE FROM PASTOR SHANE:
Hi Friend,
Thank you for taking the time to explore this part of our site. I truly appreciate your care in understanding what we believe. I want to take a moment here to address a few “hot topics” that reflect our DNA and may help you discern whether we’re the right fit for you.
We believe:
* Jesus is God and salvation comes through Him alone.
* The gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today. We operate in them as the Spirit leads, including praying in the Spirit and speaking in tongues.
* We are currently living in the Last Days. The Last Days began on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2 when Peter quoted Joel 2 and God poured out His Spirit on all flesh—all races, men & women, all ages, and all socioeconomic groups—and this era will continue until Jesus returns.
* Women are called and empowered for leadership ministry, including preaching in our services.
* In these Last Days, people who once believed in Jesus as their Savior can choose to deny Him and reject their salvation—meaning they were once saved but, by their own choice, are no longer saved.
* The Jewish people have an everlasting and unconditional covenant with God through Abraham, which includes the physical land of Israel. They remain His chosen people, and as Gentiles, we are grafted into their family and share in the spiritual inheritance of salvation. Christians are called to bless Israel and pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Nowhere does Scripture call the modern church “Israel,” and we reject replacement theology. Both Jewish and Gentile believers have unique and important roles in the Last Days church.
We have several sermons unpacking these beliefs in more detail, which you can view on our YouTube channel.
Finally, know this: We do not reject those who disagree with us. All are welcome. We believe in unity within the body of Christ, and we are committed to continually sowing into that unity.
May God bless you,
Pastor Shane
